Cosmological Constant as a Dimensional Differential

The preprint is available on SSRN: Cosmological Constant as a Dimensional Differential (August 16, 2026). http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.7462319   Cosmological Constant as a Dimensional Differential   Juliet Zhong Independent Researcher | London, United Kingdom | August 2026 ORCID: 0009-0006-5099-3671 Abstract Quantum field theory computes a vacuum energy density that differs from the observed cosmological constant by 120 orders of magnitude, arguably the worst prediction in the history of physics. Every proposed resolution assumes that a mechanism is required to reconcile the two values, and searches for one. This paper proposes that the 10^120 is a correct measurement under an incorrect interpretation. It is the compound transmission ratio of the span between the source levels, whose undelivered content stands at the pre-collapse quantum field where the vacuum energy is computed, and the three-dimensional material domain at which the cosmological con...

Magnetism as a Residual Projection Field

The preprint is available on SSRN: Magnetism as a Residual Projection Field (September 13, 2026). http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.7456978     Magnetism as a Residual Projection Field   Juliet Zhong Independent Researcher | London, United Kingdom | September 2026 ORCID: 0009-0006-5099-3671 Abstract Natural lodestone is rare not because iron-bearing minerals are rare but because the transition from magnetically ordered mineral to stable permanent magnet demands an external event of specific character. Geological magnetisation leaves ordinary magnetite with a remanence-to-saturation ratio typically below 0.05; lodestone specimens reach 0.10–0.26 and lightning-associated fulgurite samples 0.45–0.92, indicating exposure to fields orders of magnitude stronger than the geomagnetic background, with lightning-induced magnetisation the established pathway studied here. That a microsecond discharge can write a stable macroscopic directional state across an en...
